NSX
When we introduced the NSX in 1990, we set out to
establish a new concept in sports car value. Within the broader sports car
category that included everything from small- to large-displacement vehicles,
we offered such choices as a middle-weight, 3-liter normally-aspirated engine,
and an all-aluminium body construction. We also offered a commitment toward
exhaust emission levels that responded strongly to environmental concerns.
These advances all originated in our unchanging desire to create a new,
distinctive set of values in high performance driving.
And now the NSX has entered a new phase of evolution. Its aerodynamically
advanced styling and wider tires propel it to new heights of speed and driving
pleasure. This new step forward has been extremely invigorating for us on the
NSX development team. Ten years after the introduction of the original NSX-R,
we found ourselves filled with eagerness to develop a new "Type-R" version of
the NSX. It was the type of excitement one feels when setting out to be the
first to climb an unexplored mountain peak.
The Type R's role is to deliver the ultimate in speed and driving pleasure in a
road car to driving enthusiasts on all types of racing circuits. Our objective
in developing the new Type R was to apply new aerodynamic technologies to
achieve a level of stability and control beyond current levels, thus achieving
versatile, deeply satisfying handling and driving pleasure at all speeds. We
spent many hours and much energy to arrive at the purest, most balanced
definition of a sports car, to the point where even the slightest change in
spoiler angle, stabilizer bar diameter, or suspension bushing rigidity would
distance the car from what a "true Type R" is all about.
The result is a sports car that brings driver and machine closer together than
ever before, establishing a bond of communication that inspires the driver with
absolute confidence in the vehicle's reactions, opening the door to a world of
breathtaking high-speed performance. It is my sincere wish that you will be
able to enjoy the full depth and breadth of the NSX-R's performance in its
environment of choice the racing circuit.
S-2000
Honda S2000 is a passenger car designed from the genes and pedigree of
Formula 1 race car. S2000 is a two-seater sports car with soft foldable top. It
is used for special purposes like fun driving, long distance driving pleasure.
It has a 2.2 litre, 4 cylinder, DOHC, 16 valve VTEC engine giving
237bhp/8000rpm. It has wide 17 inch diameter tyres. S2000 is designed with high
technology and beautiful exteriors and interiors.
Interiors
Forget everything you've ever known about roadsters with the help of a truly
unique sports car-the S-2000.
From the start button alone, you know you're about to experience something
different. Something incredible. That's because the S-2000 is not your average
sports car. Everything is where it should be. The leather-wrapped aluminium
shift knob for the 6-speed clicks through its paces with a flick of the wrist.
Steering feel is precise, and the digital gauges need just a quick glance. All
of which lets you concentrate on the business at hand-the thrill of driving one
of the finest sports cars on the planet.

Exteriors
Since 1963, Honda's racing team has competed at the highest levels of
international motor sports. With its sleek lines and high X-bone monocoque
frame, the S-2000 roadster carries on this racing spirit.
Engineering
The VTEC® system on the 240-horsepower S-2000 achieves extreme performance. It
varies both the intake and exhaust valve operation in the engine for optimum
engine airflow over the entire power band.
This results in more complete combustion and greater efficiency. The engine
block, cylinder head and oil pan are made of lightweight aluminium alloy. The
S-2000 engine is surprisingly compact-an attribute shared with Honda's racing
engines. And it's located entirely behind the front-axle centreline, which
contributes to a sharper steering response and unflappable cornering poise.

Safety
The S-2000 is serious about performance, and just as serious about passenger
safety. The body and rigid X-bone frame are engineered not only to hold up to
the rigors of spirited driving, but also to help protect you in a full-frontal,
offset-frontal, side or rear impact.
There are dual front airbags (SRS) and 3-point seat belts with an automatic
tensioning system. Integrated roll bars for driver and passenger –
plus the door and windshield posts – are reinforced, and connect to
frame members in the floor.
